Day 1: long Island

Day one was tough. I rode somewhere around 80 miles, due to detours. I finally made it to Dave's metal shop in Brooklyn a little after 6. It started pouring rain around 9, good timing. Met some good people here and decided to stay, to avoid the rain and if I leave on Sunday I can avoid the grind of traffic in the city. Spend Saturday at the Smorgasburg farmer's market and visited a 1acre rooftop garden in Queens.
